my pets
I only have one pet living in my household and that's Lottie, our persian cat. Lottie has been a member of our family for almost
15 years, she's older than me! Since she is quite old now, she doesn't always know what time of day it is. She usually thinks that
dinner time is every 3 hours, poor girl. My Mum has labelled her as "the meowing machine" as she is constantly meowing!
Unfortunately, she's also moulting. I've had to return many school trousers because they weren't Lottie proof. It takes my Mum
forever to hoover just the stairs. There's the whole house to do! Lottie also sleeps in a different part of the house every day. She
is mainly on my bed now, as the spare room has been shut off from her because she'd get the bed quite hairy. She is also usually
on this small comfy chair in my Mum and Dad's room. My Nana and Grandad gave it to us, but not to Lottie. It was like the
chair is made for her!
Like most cats in the summer, Lottie usually goes outside in the garden and tries to catch birds. And she also relaxes on the
grass. One time, Lottie is in the front garden and this elderly man walks past. Lottie made a very upset face to the man and
he started to stroke her! Also, if you make any sudden noises, Lottie would be shocked, and sometimes she might retreat to
a safer place lol. Well I guess most cats would do that though. Lottie doesn't even scratch or bite, well, only if you really annoy
her. I haven't been scratched by her since I was 8 and that was 5 years ago. Every morning, Lottie will go into my Mum and
Dad's room and put both her paws up onto the bed, obviously wanting some breakfast. She starts meowing at the earliest
times of the day. Even at 4am! Well Lottie is a fluffball of a cat and everyone loves her.
